LUSAKA – The controversial Bill 10 was thrown into political dustbin on Thursday after an intriguing final debate, voting and rejection moment.The opposition UPND teamed up with NDC to boycott the voting process leaving the ruling PF with less than enough arsenal to reach the required 2/3 majority for the Bill to go through.
Another loss for the Edgar Chagwa Lungu led team to count on ahead of the much anticipated harmonized elections in 2021.
The bill was initiated by Justice minister Given Lubinda.
