HARARE — Former Zimbabwe batsman Brendan Taylor has admitted taking money from unnamed businesspeople in India to ‘spot fix’ international matches.

Taylor preempted this in a statement ahead of a report set to be released by the International Cricket Council over his conduct.

Taylor admitted taking USD$15 000 in October 2019 which was said to be for spot fixing and that an additional USD$20 000 was to be paid after the ‘job was complete’.

Taylor is set to get a lengthy ban from the ICC.
